[ 02-Oct-07 ] FLESH PARADE BASSIST ANNOUNCEMENT
We've finally made a decision on a bassist which puts us one step closer to being a full band once more. I'd like to announce JULIEN FRIED from the New Orleans band, BLACK ROSE as our new Bassist! JULIEN is a team player and has shown us his dedication to helping FLESH PARADE get back in action. We look forward to hitting the stage with him in the future. Now we just have to decide on a singer.

[ 27-Sep-07 ] FLESH PARADE AUDITION UPDATE
We've been holding vocal auditions for the last two months and having a blast, no pun intended. We've had several people interested in trying out, but less than a handful have actually made it to audition. I'd like to thank MATT RUSSELL from the New Orleans band MANGINA for trying out on vocals and JULIEN FRIED from BLACK ROSE for trying out on bass the last few auditions. I'd also like to thank SCOTT LEGER again for coming back out last night. We had a great time and FLESH PARADE is slowly becoming a band again. I'm very excited for what's to come in the future and the possibility of FLESH PARADE finally taking the stage again after 7 years. Stay tuned!!!

[ 04-Jul-07 ] FLESH PARADE IS BACK!
After almost 2 years FLESH PARADE finally rehearsed again in New Orleans. We scheduled 3 auditions for singers, but only one was able to make it and give it his all. We'd like to thank SCOTT LEGER (formerly of the band SHRUM), for coming out fully prepared to throw down. We played for almost six hours straight and we had a blast, no pun intended. Of course, it's been some time and we were sloppy here and there, but that didn't stop us from having fun. We'll just have to tighten up our loosies and continue. We even had Kenny from the NOLA band CRAWFISH FOSSIL sit in on bass for 'Bout Had It.

This was round one. We have more auditions scheduled and we're anxious to find out who will be the next singer of FLESH PARADE. All I can say is, we're already very optimistic of our future and that FLESH PARADE will go on.

[ 25-Jun-07 ] JASON PILGRIM LEAVES FLESH PARADE
It is unfortunately my task of bearing this bad news. JASON PILGRIM has decided to leave FLESH PARADE. When we spoke to him he had this to say, "It's no longer in my heart. I'm not at peace with it. I sometimes wanted to and then didn't want to do it. I just couldn't find a reason to continue doing it." We hope he is truly happy and knows the door will always be open. As for the future of FLESH PARADE, we'll have to wait and see. We've been plagued with problems since Katrina, so maybe this is a sign.

[ 30-Nov-06 ] FLESH PARADE CD UPDATE: PART 2
After months of trying to get things together it's time I give an update on what's been holding us up. Our singer Jason Pilgrim has chosen to become further involved with the church and become a preacher. Our attempts at reaching him after we spoke a few months back have been unsuccessful. We hope he finds true happiness in what he has chosen to do and hope he will one day be a part of our lives and Flesh Parade again. Todd and I have chosen to find a replacement since we can't reach him. We will pursue Flesh Parade as long as we can find a suitable replacement. Jason shoes will not be easy ones to fill, but we will be open to try out anyone interested. Serious inquiries only! You must be able to do scream/growl with the same intensity as Jason Pilgrim. If we do hear from Jason and he still wants to participate we will continue as originally planned.

It's official, BUNG has signed with MAINSTAY and is currently recording material for a full length due out in Fall of 2006. Catch BUNG with Capitalist Casualties, Splatterhouse, and Skarp in July.

[ 16-May-06 ] FLESH PARADE CD UPDATE
I just spoke with Todd and Jason today and both are still going to record the new CD. We've been out of touch with Jason (vocals) so long we weren't sure if he was still going to do it. As far as shows go Jason has decided he doesn't want to play shows, but a cd release show will be very likely. So show your love for Jason so he'll change his mind! We will all be meeting in New Orleans sometime next month to get started on the CD if all goes well. Rene'/F.P.

Mainstay Recordings has signed alt-rock band SAMURAI. SAMURAI features the genius behind GIGANTIC BRAIN, John Brown on vocals, guitar, keyboards and drum programming. SAMURAI showcases the softer side of Brown with snippets of his alter-ego GIGANTIC BRAIN seeping through for some of the more aggressive moments. Rene Perez of FLESH PARADE will most likely be covering bassist duties for SAMURAI’s full length to be out on Mainstay Recordings.

[ 06-Apr-05 ] OCCAM'S RAZOR Sign With Mainstay
Mainstay Recordings has also added OCCAM’S RAZOR to the their roster. Featuring guitarist Rene Perez of FLESH PARADE, this band is far from the Grindcore genre. Started back in 1995 as a side project, Perez worked on OCCAM’S RAZOR to give balance to his writing in FLESH PARADE. Having two opposite genres to express himself musically, Perez was able to always keep things interesting. This band is definitely not for the closed minded, but can be a refreshing change for listeners who like to change things up.

We finally rehearsed Friday night (February 18th) for about 2 hours. It was great to play again. We fucked up some songs and nail others, but it was a good rehearsal since we haven't played in 5 years. There are some mp3's uploaded for you to check out. They were recorded with just 2 room mics so the quality is decent, but not studio. Hope you enjoy!

C.J. Pierce original founding member/bass player of FLESH PARADE and current guitarist for DROWNING POOL has rejoined the parade. He will play on FLESH PARADE's upcoming full-length and possibly play a few dates. If all goes well a video will also be shot featuring C.J. to be submitted for play on MTV and Fuse. Wish us all luck.
